Actually this is pretty backdated, i’ve been sponsored by krookz for about 2 months now. So now what? I still have the bad ankle, and have yet to go through an MRI. It’s not a twisted ankle alright, it hurts and happened when my ankle bent inwards (heel downwards, feet upwards) on hard impact. And i’ve bummed it a couple of times over and over again.

It sucks, when you’re sessioning and getting some tricks back and learning new tricks out and a simple ouch without impact, gets me down again.

But hey, i guess it’s alright to see your friends still skating and watch the support of one to another. It’s cool to see when skateboarding grows with “together-ness”. That’s what we need yo, to grow together no matter what race you are, age, different sponsor or other skateshops owners. Here’s me in PUSH skateshop with PUSH rider Fauzan.

But lucky me, Krookz has been easy on me. I told Nizam of Krookz what kind of person before i signed the contract:
1. Busy
2. Can’t skate everyday
3. I got other things to do too man, i’m growing older
4. I’m chilled out
And, they’re cool with it. And in the first 4 days, i took 2 decks of different sizes to put to the test of my own. So far they provide me
1. Preduce decks (this shit is good, top notch quality boards)
2. Preduce wheels
3. Vans shoes
Alright, everyone knows i can’t skate with Vans. Not entirely true though. Krookz carries Vans footwear of the classics and eras, most of them have a flat tip which i have a problem with. Not the models which are categorized as “skate shoes” in the Vans website. I took a pair of “Old School” The Germs signature model and i had a tough time skating with them, and reverted back to my ‘es Accel TT.
Of course i wouldn’t BS or hide it, I told Nizam of Krookz, “Hey, i can’t skate with these. I can’t skate with flatties.”, but he took my comment with open ears and recommended me the Vans Half Cabs which probably have hit the store by now. So i have yet to test those out and see what happens.

Now, negativity is just popping up from me writing about the shoes Krookz provide me. I won’t BS nor hide my comments and statements. If the Half Cabs don’t work out, you know what? I’m gonna bribe Nizam of Krookz to order me some “skate shoes” categorized Vans footwear with some Krispy Kremes and let him know how bad they were. Besides, Supra or Lakai (or both) or coming into the store. Hey, this whole shoe thing isn’t a bad thing, it isn’t really. It’s really nice to see Nizam of Krookz hear out my comments and actually work out on something, i appreciate it. There isn’t perfection in everything (except a lifecycle). But what’s really going on is a perfect example of growing together and it’s a GOOD thing. I don’t believe in hiding and faking image, it’s better to improve than staying stationary. I’m real comfortable with Krookz and i gotta say it’s great!
You can skate by yourself, but for skateboarding to grow in a community, you gotta grow together and support one another. And here’s the starter pack to tip it off..

Now Nizam, them doughnuts on you!!!!
